So I was thinking that I should try to get the game in a playable format. I thnk this will be a cool place to talk about what I am doing.

MG is a paper and pencil RPG about what it would be like to be the daughters of the famous Hollywood monsters: Dracula, Frankenstien, The Werewolf, The Mummy, The Creature from the Black Lagoon. I'm sure there will be others. The style I want the game to have is that of a Saturday morning cartoon like Scooby Doo.

The game should reflect two things, first that girls can be monsters to each other and second that there is a use for both your monster-ness and your human-ness.

I have always thought that the game would play like an episode of Scooby Doo. There would be a mystery and the Monster Girls and there friend Freddie would show up and investigate. there would be jockeying between the girls to be the one who goes with Freddie when they split up. there would be some kind of contest and the winner gets him. I don't know what he helps with but I have to find a way to make him mechanically significant without deprotagonizing the girls. From there they would split up into two groups and search for clues. They would meet up again and exchange notes. The Mystery would move to the next scene and there would be another battle over Freddie and things would go on like this till all of the clues were achieved and the mystery was solved.

I don't think it is going to stay that way but for now that is the process I am taking.

Welcome, More Later.
